I will be in the stand........ but I can pick up 105.3 in the truck

I think NASCAR on radio is worse than listening to the play by play guy for the Mason Punchers.

I'll be sitting in the stand while the family is letting me know what's going on one the track. Skipping the race for what will hopefully be a nice(cool), relaxing(the only work being cleaning a good shooter), weekend at the lease.

I have missed opening weekend for the last 9 yrs. because of the race. Being a driver/instructor/mechanic @ the stock car driving school there, either before or after the Nationwide race we gave about 400+ rides to people attending. But recently took an opportunity in Houston to build a company and also help market/guide @ ranch. I cant wait to be away from that crowd and be in the woods with fellow hunters again.

I Personally HATE the way they schedule races to coincide with opening weekend of deer season. Thats on the verge of not being TEXAN!!

EXTREMELY easy choice for me- I would be in the stand.
Not a NASCAR fan at all. Gave away 4 tickets to an event at the Kansas Speedway a few years ago. I was trying to win the other offering (bang sticks) at CABELAS, but won the tickets. Talk about a disappointment!

I have herd the guys from TMS talking about trying to move the race up or down one weekend, since there are so many race fans that also hunt. I would love to see them get that done. Till then I will be keeping up with the race from the stand on my phone.

One of the guys has Sirius radio so I'm hoping to catch the parts of the races that run at night. I'm pretty sure the truck race is at night and the last half of the Sprint race will be after dark. Not sure about the Nationwide race.

I go to the races in the spring and hunt during the fall. My father in law called me from TMS last night and said it was empty. Maybe nascar will get it one year that people in Texas hunt. Anyways GO KYLE BUSCHHHHHH! I will be in the stand this weekend.

I'm buying season tickets next year for my Wife and me. When I told her I couldn't go to the November races, she said "Don't worry. I'll find somebody to go with me". eek2

I will be at the race - fell into a last minute deal with a vendor with some prime tickets, nothing like all you can eat/drink for 6 hours. That, and it's a people watching experience that has no equal.

I have been hunting hard since September 28 so I am at TMS taking a break from hunting and enjoying the chaos and spectacle of NASCAR at TMS.

It works out good for me - I don't rifle hunt and the woods are going to sound like a war zone in the morning so this "break" is good for me.

I will be back out in the woods Monday afternoon and hunting hard the rest of the week and into the following weekend.

I have already taken one of the best bucks I have ever harvested (last Friday) so I am going to sit back and indulge myself at the races this weekend.

Good luck to everyone who's opening day is in the morning!
