About 14 years ago when I already was almost engaged, we went to "Wildwest" in Houston, Texas opening weekend of deer season. We ran into a guy friend of ours that said "Man we love opening day of Deer Season, look all the women in here". Typically it was about 70% guys and 30% women but not this weekend. The percentages where just the oppposite!

I wish someone would have told me that secret long before I found out. I passed this information on to a friend of mine and a few years later he met his wife at "Dallas Nightclub" in Austin, Texas opening weekend!

Yep, at Gilley's, they use to put bumper stickers on you car. You could always tell which women won't suppose to be there cause they were the ones asking that no sticker be put on their car!

First time I went there was 1969. I haven't been there in years, we quit leasing in that area about 75 and moved closer to home.

You will never find me in a bar, I'll do my drinking at home. Many an attorney in this town has retired working nothing but DWI cases with most being bar related.

Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

Don't know if it's still open or not. We pass through there a couple times a year now. Still looks the same.
