Does anyone have a good fix for a broken ear on the lower? Its on the pin side of the trigger guard. Its a spikes lower so trying to salvage it.

Another way is to use one of the several aftermarket grips with the trigger guard built in.. That is what I would do..

JBWeld and a Magpul MIAD. Been there, done that. A little touch up and it looks like a scratch And a backing block in your tool box so you don't do it agin.

Take it by a shop that knows how to tig weld or heliark. It's gonna take some refinishing but it can be done.
You might as well get another striped lower and sell that one. Stating whats broke.

Thanks guys that helps. Yeah I have built several and broke it trying to change out the trigger guard to a different style.

The Magpul MOE trigger guards have a short allen screw that only catches on one side anyway. Just put the guard in place and thread the short allen in from the good side and ride it like you stole it! You could also use a small screw so the head will hold it in place if you are worried.
