I don't mind hand me downs! yeah neither will my dad or my spare bow case, more than likely Ill give it to dad as he loves to bow hunt but his bow is as old as I am and hes CHEAP lol.

If its better than the helium ill buy it They could re-release any bow they have made in the last 5 years and it would be better than the Helium, except maybe the Reezen.

i was told by a dealer that mathews is coming out with 3 new models. that is the only reason i did not buy the heli-m last week. so i will look at the new models and try to decide which to buy. i had a time trying to decide between the z-7 extreme or the heli-m and now have 3 more to look at???

The Mathews line will be released November 5th. There are 3 coming.

I am between getting the z7 extreme or waiting for the new Mathews. The z7 extreme discontinues the day the new Mathews comes out.

I would wait and shoot all of them, you can allways find a extreme used if thats what you really wanted.

I've been shooting my Mathews for several years looking to up grade maybe in a year or two. What was wrong with the Heli-m model? Anyone shot it?

Heli-m is okay, over-hyped but that is typical for all new bows. I have some issues with the overall design, the flimsy riser is what turned me off. Not a huge fan of the draw cycle. Was shooting one and pinched a nerve in my shoulder has never happened before and has not happened again shooting any other bows. I gave it a decent shot as I was trying everything out shopping for my new bow. I was a Mathews guy but they kind of just lost me. I look forward to seeing their new line-up.

Never shot the helium. Shoot switchback and haven't looked back. I too like the hand me downs.

Switchback probably the all time greatest bow they ever made.
I personally thought the helium draw was terrible and stiff...and that's coming from a speed bow dual cam guy

Had switchback and shot the z7 I liked the helim the best !! So I bought it

whats wrong with the reezen? i know the draw is not as smooth as my pse was, but it slings sticks faster than most.
hope the new line up has the option to come with carbon fiber scheme like heli-m so i can have a cool looking bow to hold in the stand while watching the deer play 100yds away

Come on it is not that bad. Mathews puts out a truely great bow every 4 or 5 years. They got to hit it this year, because from what all I hear the last homerun they had was the switchback.

Ya, dxt/drenalin were good, really you wont go wrong with any of their bows, some are better than others but they are all great bows
