I got 2 baby mojos for this season, a drake and a hen. How do you guys like to place them? Do you ever place the hen and drake next to each other like a landing pair coming in? Do you place them on the inside of the LZ as if they are landing where you want the real ducks to come in also? Thanks!!

But yes, your two placement ideas are right on the money. Haven't seen a place in Texas this would work, but growing up in Arkansas, we would try to hide them behind cover. So that the birds never get a full view. Just catch glimpses of the flashes as they circle.

I somtimes put them close together, within 5-7 feet. Always on the inside of the spread. I have done what duckboy was talking about and put them in little pockets behind brush and outside of the spread.
I find that having mojos in the spread during the early hours helps. As the sun comes up I pay close attention to how the birds are working and make adjustments. If that means pulling them then I do it.
I have had late season hunts where birds consistantly land within a couple feet of my mojos and days where they flare 100 yards out off of them. Pull the mojos and they suck right in. Its all about what they want that day. You just have to pay attention and make adjustments.

I have played with putting them everywhere....best spot i have found is on the upwind side of the spread. Pull them up after the sun peaks over the horizon and dont be lazy about moving them around like i tend to be!
