Mike is going to post pics as my photbucket account is screwed up. First off I want to thank Mulie Mike and his guys for an awesome hunt at Rancho Consuelo. We started out on Friday morning and had a ram pop up on us and of course I had the jitters and missed. We continued on our hike and encountered a group of about 20 tried to slip up on them and they disappeared like ghosts, hunted along for awhile then took a lunch break. Later on that afternoon we were sitting on a hillside overlooking a protein feeder and low and behold just like Mike said a ram came out EXACTLY where he said it would, I felt confident took the shot and DAMN IT missed AGAIN. We went right then sot my gun (which was dead on when I left) and it was shooting high 6 inches. Made the necessary adjustments and went to camp. Next morning we are at it again, Mike spots one at 1200 hundred yards puts the spotting scope on it and says he has great mass and we begin hiking towards a point to set up and take the shot.Mike talks me through the shot and I take the shot ram rears up like a horse 710 yards confirmed by Mike and Aoudad is down. Found him laid under a tree about 75 yards from where I shot.He Measured out at 26 inches and I know that is not a trophy to some but it is to me after all the opportunities blown and a danghard hunt and I couldn't be more proud!!! Thanks again Mike and tell the guys thanks.

Sounds like a great hunt. 710 yards is one heck of a shot, too!! Can't wait to see the pictures.

You got it! We hunted hard for that ram, the full moon was not a help at all on this hunt but we still got it done. Thank goodness there was a road near him if not it would have been a long long ways out.
