Anyone else have an obsession with these things? Everyone I've ever owned has been a great gun and I'm convinced if the Swiss were in the war they would be $1000+ rather than $250 from the importers.

I have a 53' K31. Its awesome. Other than having a birch stock as opposed to a walnut stock. Most accurate rifle I own. Recently myself with 3 other people were hitting a target at 300+ yards, open sites, with no problem. The mechanics of the bolt is really cool too. Just got some relaoding dies in. Im going to make some really nasty rounds for hogs soon. Good things is the 7.5x55 round uses a standard .308 bullet, so the possiblities go on forever.

I have a K11 and planned to buy a K31. But since I've had the K11 for a couple of years and haven't even shot it, I'm thinking I may wait in the K31.
Practice doesn’t make perfect. Practice makes permanent.

1943 K-31. I reload. Same starting data as 308 and watch for pressure signs as you increase the charges. really accurate and a pleasure to shoot.

All are great shooters and barrels all look like they were machined this year. Scoped the 43 and put a red dot (don't judge) on the 55. I personally shoot the hornady ammo at the range as I do not reload. When I'm at the property I just shoot the GP11 surplus, hard to beat the national match ammo at $35 for 60 rounds.

I've got a buddy that put a bunch of custome work into his; synthetic stock, professional scope mounting job, accurized barrel, high dollar scope, bipod, etc and I can't believe the groups the thing shoots. Even leaving the rifles alone the groupings are great. Long story short, you can't go wrong and it's not a whole lot of money to begin with.

I really need to take my K31 out and harvest a deer with it. I've been meaning to do that for years.
