Converting a bass buster into a floating layout blind for waterfowl this winter. Anybody have any ideas or experience on how I can build the doors for it? I was thinking maybe PVC pipe but just don't know what to use for hinges that swing open easily.

Would metal pipe tape work for you? Depending on design wrap around and swing it open.

Maybe use some PVC T joints one size bigger to slip over the smaller pipe and use pins through the smaller pipe to hold them in place?

This. I have made several blinds like this and it works very well.
