I used just the regular mount it comes with and used the double sided tape on the side of my receiver, I don't know how well it will do with ducks, but for dove it wasn't so good, they are too small to really see. And make sure the swivel screw is tight or else it will pivot every time you shoot.
Two kinds of people vote democrat. Rich people that don't have to work, and poor people who don't want to work.

I have been trying different locations for my GoPro in an effort to learn what works and what doesn't work. I usually just put in on a tripod or set it on the ground and aim it where I want. I don't attach it to my gun because those videos are typically too shaky. Here's some clips I put together from Teal season. The Saturday setup is with the camera on a tripod behind us. The Sunday setup is with the camera on the ground and the foot of my layout blind looking out. This is will also give you and idea of the poor capabilities these cameras have in low light conditions. This is the first generation though. The newer models say they are better in low light, but I don't have any personal experience with those units yet. Let me know if you can't see the video.

There have been several gopro threads. They are great for your home footage, but if plan on making some fancy video, you will need other cameras to compliment it.
It is a fish eye lens, so you will need to do some editing, IMO. The new software for the Hero 2 is on their site, as well as the firmware update.
Gopros are pretty bad with low light and have poor depth perception. You might shoot a bird at 20 yards, but on camera it looks like 50 yards.
The mounts are cheap which allows you to put the camera on basically anything though.
I like them because they are cheap, and you can get good footage if you toggle with them. I was just pointing out the negatives so that you weren't shocked.

I just got a Sony Action cam that may be worth checking out. I taped in to my shotgun last night dove hunting. After a few rounds the recoil dislodged the SD card. Fottage was pretty good and I think it will work with some foam to take some of the recoil out.

Just picked up the new Hero 3 silver yesterday. Gonna take it back and get the black so I can shoot in 720p at 120fps for smooth slow motion. Here's a vid I shot yesterday of it on my bow. Plan on strapping it on my shotgun for next weekend.

Nice vid duckbill, thanks for the input guys I guess I should put more of my focus on the software side of things. I used the iMovie software on our Macbook Pro. It's very user friendly and fun to work with.
