In land, does camo clothing alone makes you unnoticeable from ducks in the air or blind makes a difference?

I would rather be in a blind than standing in the open wearing camo. Movement is a big factor in decoying in ducks. Keep it to a minimum and build a simple blind out of whatever is around and you'll be good. Too much movement even if your in a blind can still burn you.

I've never hunted out of a blind on ponds. I either find a spot when I can get some cover or I've used camo netting to cover up with
I'd ask him if he's pregnant. He missed a s__tload of periods. I'll take "things that look like a uterus" for $200 Alex.

This isn't the most recent picture (we did a decent amount of work this weekend) But off to the right where you see the brown leaves -that starts our Set up, just gathered bunch of branches and stacked them up. Provides plenty of cover (super camo'd out) and ducks don't see us. Ill get a current pic 2 weeks from now. Easy to do, take 30 minutes and make cover.

I think you have to use some sort of natural cover. I use a boat to get to my spot and then usually hunt next to a tree or some sort of brush. It’s almost impossible to watch ducks, Call ducks, Work a jerk cord and shoulder a gun with just camo on and no cover and not have the ducks spot you and flare off.

Long story short, if you move, and that motion is not hidden behind somethin, you're busted.
Personally I hate "blinds". Ducks get shot at out of those things all the way from Canada to Mexico. Now if you could walk past it, and not tell its a blind, it'll work.
I much prefer to be leaning up against a tree, or in something natural that is already there.

OP said nothing about a blind, brush or otherwise the subject of the thread is Camo vs. BLIND and he asks the question in the first post. I would assume "blind" refers to brush or otherwise versus having no cover while just wearing camo clothes.

If you don't mind getting muddy, you can lay flat on the bank in just camo and kill ducks. I do it all the time and prefer that then to pile a bunch of brush in a spot that it doesn't belong.

I once hunted on a pretty barren shoreline of a farm pond. I was wearing camo, but also collected a small amount of brush to scatter around the area I was laying (as opposed to stacking it up to hide behind or covering up with it). We had several groups come in that morning and none flared. I think the key was laying flat, not moving, covering up my face, and having my outline broken up with the brush.
And he said, "get your ducks in a row and we'll go hunting." So we did.....

got to have brush or something to break up your outline... Camo alone and I would've stuck out like a sore thumb

You gota get that overhead cover. Its hard for us to imagine what ducks see when they are flying around but you can pile all the brush around you that you want but you gota make sure you have something over the top. If you don't do that might as well try and lay still and camo up good but nothing is going to stop them from seeing movement and just like with people thats what they key on.

I use layout blinds on some of my farm ponds and they are deadly. I haven't found anything that works better.

I just camo up and sit in the brush, then don't move, it's always worked. The only "blind" I've used I guess would have been when the water dropped and I had to pile up brush in the water line.
