Nice buck but the flashlight on the bow will DQ it.

Nice deer for sure. I thought by state law you could not have any form of light moun ed onto your bow. That's just what I was told BC I talk to tpwd on that issue in day a few years back.

Nice buck! And whoever set that photo up did a great job too. Really nice to see a smile when somebody shoots a deer. up

P&Y? Even with deductions I would think so!

I have spoken to people before regarding this. It could be questioned by LEO and probably would be DQ'd by P&Y with that photo. I have a light for hog shooting as well but it comes off at legal shooting light in the morning and back on after legal hours in the evening. I carry both my regular stabilizer and the light so I stay legal.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.

I don't think that a Game Warden would approve of the flashlight being on the bow while hunting Whitetail. Even though it is legal to use for hog, I could forsee a ticket in the future if caught deer hunting (after sunset/before sunrise) with it on there by a GW.

You may say that was the intended use, but it is no different than bowhunting whitetail with a rifle in the stand to use for hogs IMO. Sir I intended to use my rifle for hogs and the bow for deer. Ticket issued.

Flashlight in the pocket or stand while bowhunting is of course acceptable, but light mounted on the bow while deerhunting would be suspect..

But I'm not a GW.

If that buck isn't a P&Y qualifier, I don't know what is.
