Has anyone recieved their antlerless deer permits yet? Last year i got mine on the 15th....

Do they use a lottery or application to get antlerless permits in Texas?
In Missouri, I just buy the licenses online or at the store in any quantity I wish to purchase.

Depends on a survey for WMA permits and/or landowner/lease permits. Survey numbers dictate permit numbers. You also must turn in your harvest data on time, if you don't then you will be dropped from the program. Also TPWD is short some biologist in some counties.

In Missouri, I just buy the licenses online or at the store in any quantity I wish to purchase. Yes, for Sam Houston National Forest, you go to the national forest website and apply. They have a drawing for the permits. It's too late to apply for this season though.
