I've got a little bit nicer version of this and it seems decent, $132 for a progressive reloader doesn't seem too bad though for people wanting to get into it that don't want to drop a few hundred dollars right now.

Not a bad setup for the price. Like a lot of Lee products it might not be fancy but they work. That is a good price on a reconditioned one as well. Over $50 off from Midway's price

Good price...only issue with the .223 is the discs.

You have to sand out the biggest holes to get more powder out of them. I think they will only dump about 24 grains of H335 or TAC.

You can get this....

Charge Bar

But the way the system is designed you can't get much more than 25 grains out of it.

In other words it sucks for loading 5.56

I know..I've tried.

yeah they had a few different calibers I've got one for reloading 223 that's the nicer model. I'm debating getting one for 9mm as well since those will be my two primary. I'll end up reloading 308, and 300 blk too but not there yet, still have to finish my build.

That I would go for. I used to have one for every caliber. I've sold two or three off but I still have my .38/.357, 9mm and .40 cal loaders.

It's easier to swap out presses than calibers so I'd get one for all.

I'm getting a Dillon so I may have mine for sale.

"WARNING: Only CCI or Remington brand primers are safe use with this press." confused2

In small rifle, those brands have harder cups which help prevent slam fires or detonating a primer when your progressive press hangs up. It's a liability thing with manufacturers.

just a heads up. i bought a lee progressive back in the spring, used it for about a week and sent it back. lee wouldnt do anything to help. kept telling i needed to do this and that to tweak the loader. every shell was getting +-10 grains of powder!!!! and dumping 2-5 grains out the side of the powder dispenser onto the loader and my bench. the primer system would only seat a primer every 4th shell too! save your self the head aches and research on the internet first about these presses. just search lee loadmaster/progressive problems. lee wouldnt do anything to help. thank goodness the place i bought would refund my money like they did. very disappointed in lee on there presses and customer service.
just my .02 and personal experience. good luck

If you were closer I would have helped you. I've loaded over 100k rounds on the Lee Pro 1000's.

They suck to setup and get working but once you get in a rhythm they do work.
