Nice. Was thinking I wanted a Cooper the other day... then realized I'd be pissed if I scratched or dinged it up. Yours looks sharp!

Congrats. Is that one of the single shots or a model 54?
Haven't worked up a load for 22-250 in several years, and the last one was with 60gr partitons using Varget.

I shoot TAC and Proj No 22444 55gr Barnes to hunt with from my 700 w/a 26 in bbl.. It chronograps 3810fps in Tarpley..and I get touching hole groups..and DRT kills with it..It got to where it wasn't much fun to carry because I seemed to always be cleaning an animal, instead of drinking beer with the guys..I finally quit putting it in the truck, and don't load what I carry unless the freezer is getting empty..but the Barnes will whack all of them, if you clean the bore properly..DD

I've had great luck with 38.0 grains of H380 behind the 55gr bullet of your choice. This is the load this powder was named for...so it's a proven choice.
Life's too short to share it with a crappy knife!

Try 36.5gr of IMR-4064 with 55gr Hornady V-Max and seat 'em long.
