About once every couple of months, I go read some of the bigfoot stuff on the web.
There seems to be an uproar in the bigfoot community about the contest. They feel it makes fun of them and they really hate the hoax part, both making their job harder and feel someone is gonna get shot wearing a monkey suit.
I also found a host of new stuff that I wanted to share.
Again, I'm not saying this is real or fake, but it makes some good reading.
Here's some video from a hunting show:

These folks have meeting at Gander Mountain, the next meeting is in June at the Corsicana store? Anyone here ever attend?

I also found blog talk radio, which is online talk radio. There's a ton of bigfoot shows on there you can listen to.
http://www.blogtalkradio.com/Bigfoot_QuestThis one caught my attention and I listened to a couple of shows. There are folks on there who claim to see BF on a regular basis, know where they live, and the BF will seek them out when they go out into the woods. They also claim to know where entire families of BF reside in the woods. This was in Texas and Oklahoma BTW.
Another story that caught my attention was one about where injured juvenile BF's where found in the woods by rural farmers and ranchers. They were so taken by the human like qualities of the immature BF, that they took it home and cared for it. Dressed it in overalls and taught it to speak english. The family consisted of several irish immigrants, so naturally the BF would speak english with an irish accent. They kept it until it was mature and was then released back into the wild.
Another story or idea that was batted around is the fact that there are thousands of game cameras in the woods now, but no one has yet to capture a decent picture of BF. The idea that was tossed around was that BF can hear the circuitry of the cameras and avoid them.
They also said that primates fear cameras, and that's another reason no one has gotten a picture. Also BF have some sort of perception about what your intentions are, so if you're going to try to shoot one or take a picture, they can sense your intentions and will stay away.
Then there's the run of the mill tree knocking, howling, and rock throwing.
-----
There was also a reference to a lady name Janice Carter who interacted with BF and even handed them food from her backdoor steps.
http://www.cryptomundo.com/cryptozoo-news/50-yrs-jerry/On her website, she refers to BF as "ancient People" and not as animals.
http://www.bigfootreferenceguide.com/So we've got all these sightings, people who regularly and actively interact with BF, and yet we don't have one decent picture of one and we don't have any "beyond a shadow of a doubt" evidence, like bones or a body, that shows that BF actually exists. And we can't get pictures, because BF's know what cameras are and how to avoid them.
So either this is real or there are a bunch of people drinking the kool-aid.
