Any body tried this. Been hearing about it, thinking about getting a gun done in this finish. Anybody know of anyone who has had it done, thoughts. What's the going rate?

I have a guy in brownwood Texas he wants 90 for stock dip and 185 for whole gun dip. Is that about the going rate?

Browning and Remington both do it. Plus mossberg and everybody else that has picture like camo rifles and shotguns.
I have seen pics of a bad job. The finish looked flaked around some of the tight areas.
Ive came across prices of around $250 for multicam. I'd really give some thought to GunKote before I'd dip it.

We are out of kilgore, and do gameguard and several other patterns. We have an ffl so you can ship your gun direct to us. If you have any questions shoot me a pm. Link to our website is in my signature
Hydro dipping is very durable if the prep work is done right, and quality materials are used. Choose a good shop and you will be very pleased with the looks and durability of the finish.
