My 6 year old daughter and i were looking through my hunting magazine and she was informing me what I can shoot and what I cannot. She informed me that any animals with horns I can shoot and anything without i cannot ( so can't take her doe hunting lol) well then we got to the fowl section and I asked her if it was ok to shoot a duck and she said it was not cause they do not have the right kind of pecker but i can shoot a turkey cause there pecker is correct. out of the mouths of babe's.... do any of you have a similar story....

Shayne.

apparently the new thing is to teach kids the politically correct words for body parts, so you can imagine when I heard those words from my almost 3yo niece this weekend. All I can say is Thanksgiving will be fun.

my 4 year old tells me that I can shoot the daddy ducks, but not the mommy ducks or the baby ducks, and I can shoot the bad pigs, but not the nice pigs.

my son (2 1/2 yrs old) likes to watch that cartoon phineas and ferb . the only problem is that everytime he sees a picture of the cartoon charachters he likes to point them out and he doesnt say phineas to well and it comes out as PENIS!!!! its pretty funny out in public and usually gets quite a few heads turned LOL!!!!

I'm sitting here waiting to get a hair cut and everyone turns to me because I laughed out loud on that one! Too cute.

After eight or ten deer hunting trips last season, my nine year old daughter asked me if shooting is involved in hunting at some point...

My son just turned 4. I take him squirrel hunting with me, and even though he is too loud and we never get anything, he loves it. A few weeks before bow season, this is the conversation we had.
"Daddy, I think there will be a deer in the woods tomorrow. Can you go kill it so we can eat it?"
"No, son, it's not deer season yet"
"Oh...well, can you go Sunday?"
I'm grinning from ear to ear at this point "I promise, when season comes, I will kill a deer."
"OK...are you gonna take his bones out so we can eat him?"
I can't wait til he's old enough to sit still.

That was too funny.

Not a hunting story but out of a 6 year olds mouth. When my youngest son was 5 or 6 we went to the Movie Titanic. Fast forward to the part where Kate Winslett gets her top off for Leonardo. Movie theater was dead quite and Kate takes her top off. When Kate's "girls" flashed on the screen, my son lets out an "Oh gross!!" The whole theater erupts in laughter me included.

Being 23 now, he is now a big fan of "the girls".

I just sprayed coffee all over my textbook that I should be reading instead of reading THF. Thanks for brightening my afternoon!
