 300 WM to 270 WSM conversion

Well I picked up a Rem 700 in 300WM on the cheap! I am NOT a fan of big caliber rifles but the price was just to good.
Spoke to my Uncle Steve Fette up in Muenster. He is a custom gun maker / Gun Smith (Red River Firearms /
(940) 759-4568 )
about what we might be able to do. He suggested we put a brake on it but I was like well OK just do what you think works.
Well I picked it up over the weekend. To my surprise he did a conversion. New stainless barrel, pillar bed and trigger job. Even worked up about 100 hand loads in 270 WSM. I could not be happier!
Anyone looked for a good smith or someone in the market for a custom gun, I would highly recommend him. Not saying this because he is family but the man is DAMN GOOD at what he does!
Can't wait to put some lead down rang!

What bullets did he use on the final load he gave you? Not sure, said when I used those up he would work me up another batch. I will ask and post back.
