Congrats on a good hunt.

It's the time spent in God's creation with family and friends making memories that counts.

Nothing against killing bears because it is within the law. The question is why? Do you eat them? Are they any good? Do you just skin the hide and maybe get the claws? Just asking.

I am not a bear hunter but I know a lot of guys who love it. They skin them, mount them, make rugs or wall mounts. Yes they do eat them. I have eaten it and it is not my favorite wild game meal but some folks love it.

Good job guys.

I have always felt the same way as you Earl, However my sentiment is starting to change when a big boar has taken down 6 feeders at our lease because he can. He basically has put over 1,800 lbs of corn on the ground and walks from feeder to feeder eating. We are spending about $50 - $70 per feeder on replacement parts. We now have many bears on our property that eat the corn at the feeders. I believe next year I will buy a archery license for the.
