how many here know or use the wrinkles on the bucks ears to age them ....?

Funny how the illustration also notes the hair growth, as the deer ages it's ear hair grows thicker.

i think he is 3 and a half .....
i think i see 3 wrinkles ,,,,,
maybe 4 ....
of course he doesnt have a fall coat and the rut neck so .....
its difficult to say and his ear is back .....
it becomes much more pronounced when the ear goes forward a bit

I just count the growth rings on their hooves.
