I would like to find a gps that has aerial photos or maps of terrain loaded. Is there any such thing? Please let me know. Even something with like google maps overlay. A app for iPhone would be even better!
Thanks

Garmin and then buy the maps. If you choose to do so then I reccomend spending more money on a gps with a larger screen. www.huntinggpsmaps.com

Will topographical maps show water? Like creeks, ponds?

A PRICELESS app I got is backcountry navigator. It' doesn't zoom in as detailed as Google but you can easily mark waypoints in the field. Thr best $10 I've ever spent.

The Delorme PN60 is the best on the market! You can download their aerial/satellite pictures, and use a topo overlay with your trails marked. Or if you want just fantastic aerials, use this link - http://www.tnris.org/status-maps/This same link is used by GOOGLE MAPS
