Yes, this slaughter is because of me. Sat last night with plans to camp and take my chances at a buck this a.m. Checked my camera and hadn't had a single deer for 2 weeks, but quite a few pigs. Group of about 6 came in right at dusk and popped this young boar with 00 buckshot. It absolutely hammered him. Not 1 step. Anyhow, thought it was appropriate as we're playing the Hogs today.  Gig'em, Ags!  Started raining around 9 and I sat until 11 hoping some of the bigger ones would show up, but no dice. I could hear them squeeling and grunting back behind me, but they never showed. Decided not to camp due to rain and complete lack of deer pics. Still a fun evening.

Good kills Cameron. Is your place still on the market? Just curious. Yes, it'll stay on the market until it sells. With a 2-yr-old and another on the way, I'd like to get something closer to Houston. That said, I'm not exactly going to be heartbroken if it never sells. Have a buddy that's going to try to do some hog elimination over the next few weeks. They've run the deer off of my feeder completely at this point. I did get the 2nd one going, so hopefully by gun season the deer will be back.

My wife is wanting me to sell the place at Leakey, she say's ,"You hardly go down there anymore"...That's about to change. You can bet on it.
