Present... Rains pretty much stopped for the moment. Ain't seen nothing but the woods are startin to come alive with activity.

Doe left. Two more just came in and left not giving any open shots. Wind direction is swirling bad and keeps sweeping my scent towards the feeder.

I woke up at 3 looked at radar. Woke up at 4 looked at radar. Turned off alarm woke up every 30 minutes looked at radar. Got our of bed at about 6:45 looked out side. Said son of a gun it's just drizzling jumped in truck stopped got coffee, and worst biscuit on earth. Made turn off of highway towards the lease and had an ephinany. Holy moly my sealed up bag of scent lock gear is sitting in the kitchen.
So im in my pop up wearing shorts white shirt and mud boots.
Anybody in Grayson county seeing any movement?

Looks like it will clear out in brownwood tonight. Headed down tomoro mid day and hunt afternoon and as long as I need next week.

saw 5 doe and a bobcat. he almost got the arrow, but never got clear shot. now i'm sitting at the office working.

Saw one pig about 6:15 then nothing but rain after that.

So frustrating... Checked lease and cameras last Sunday. All stands getting plenty of action and nice shooter bucks. Four hunters on our lease, all of sit in rain this am, all of us get skunked... See Zero deer. Pull cards on cameras and head back to camp, start going through pics and find in the last week that all the nice bucks have disappeared, and doe are almost gone too. Looked for Acorns but not seeing any. Oh well, that's why it's hunting, right? Lol In Montague, and watching it rain and kinda bummed.

 Hog that ran a couple doe off before they arrived at my feeder ended up having a bad day. Would loved for him to run off and die but nope he made a circle and dropped 20 yards from the feeder.

Saw 5 bucks around 9 this am. 3 were shooters but I have my eye on a bigger one. Looking for a doe or a spike this afternoon for some meat. Rain should be through Hamilton at around 3.

I sat this morning in a pop-up. Saw one doe and a little forky. Better than nothing I guess... rained all morning... Wish I could get out this afternoon... I think they will be moving early...

Saw nothing at all...left the blind at 11am only to get my truck stuck in the gumbo mud and spend the next hour and a half getting unstuck and very muddy in the process...oh well better than home doing chores.
I'd be a vegitarian too if bacon grew on trees.

Just got on stand in red river county.. Was out this morning.. Yes in rain.. Its slacked here now.. Didnt see anything this morning but i think they will move this evening... Report back...
