my boss at the time said it didn't matter, because I wasn't supposed to get wasted while I was working a booth and I couldn't talk to the TSCRA spokesperson like that whether I had been drinkin or not and it wasn't any of my business why Wilford didn't drink or why he changed out of his velvet pj's before coming in to the show.

but hey, I was 24, fully starched, and ready to rock

After paying all that money for a lease are you pissed that these specially planted fields are now just dirt fields?

If you are speaking of the horse park then everyone was told the plan before it happened and they were not planted just for dove hunting. The real truth is that crops are worth more than the dove hunts. You might also want to understand what is being done before bashing it. As for the cost if you go an hour to an hour an a half away and stay in a hotel for two nights you have spent over $500.00 for a weekend and are done for the year. By the time you factor fuel, time, hotel and food you have probably spent as much or more than if you had joined a season lease in town. Town hunting is not for everyone and disappearing to the country is not for everyone either.

Paid %425 for the season for me and a guest...
20 minutes from my lease, no hotels, not much time, not much fuel, so nope...didn't spend that much and killing tons of birds..... up

Spend time with the ones you love. Time is not guaranteed.

LOL - Sorry about that. I know it's bad. I'll see if I can't get some coupons for some Dramamine before I post the next!

LOL

Not trying to stir anything up but I was on one of the fields today that Dove Blasters has and it was loaded with dove. If I could have aimed better and there were a few more people it would have been awesome. It was on a plowed field too. I work in Frisco and the birds are out right now. Some are landing in the plowed fields, dont know why but they are. Guess they are looking for what ever was plowed in the dirt.

Do all the hunters have to wear long sleeve shirts, shorts and cowboy boots?

Shorts and boots are ok on plowed ground. But in a grain feild all that grain gets in your boots and starts to hurt your feet
