Well I decided I'd sleep in come morning instead of trying to cross the creek that runs through my place. I'll try and be out there for an evening hunt and hopefully the rain will let up by then also.

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

Llano, Round Mountain,Johnson City getting hammered right now per LRCA gauges. Menard, Brady, and Brownwood areas have some good 24 hour totals.

Been falling since around 1400 yesterday. Albany got about 2.5", Cisco got close to 3", but I heard it just started raining in Carbon today.....probably less.

In Concho. Can't load pics right now and haven't taken many, but had 5"+ and still counting since yesterday around 3 or 4. Still coming down steady and weather channel shows it raining until tomorrow afternoon.

Looks like AEB got some. I'm in town right now but it looks like the Erath place might have gotten an inch or so, with more to come.

A little over 1.5" so far. I'm happy. Deer are happy. A lot of acorns on the ground now to get sour.
