Near Glen Rose...I got the blind up and the feeder working last weekend and when I checked this morning, there was no sign of deer. No cows are on the property and there is only a little corn on the ground. Coons? Any way...when do I start complaining that all the deer are in woods eating just acorns?

You can complain about that any time you want to. Never does any good but if it makes you feel better goahead.

Be patient. I shot the biggest deer of my life in
glen rose. I've been hunting over 30 years.

Closer you are to the Paluxy and Brazos, the better for Turkey. However I see them quite often in between Chalk mountain and Walnut springs. Some big ranches out there, lots of birds. No hogs, yet.

Hunted a place 5-7 miles north of glen rose a few years back ... worst "deer" lease I've ever been on but by far the most turkey I've ever seen. It was covered up with em.
