One of my neighbors has decided to do custom holsters for a little side money, so I decided to commission one for a 9mm I've been wanting to take into the field. Was thrilled with how great it turned out and decided to show it off. Fit's the old Astra like a glove, and looks as good as custom holsters costing two or three time this much. I'm thinking my next commission might have to have a copperhead snake skin insert. grin

Thanks Dave!! Glad you liked it. Would love to do one using the copperhead skin as an inlay. It would also be good to use as a band on the front top edge. Let me know what gun you want to use and I can show you some of the patterns I have.

Looks great! How much (on average) do you ask for a holster like that?

We've got some pretty stout bucks this year... One in east TX that we can't connect to any deer we've known in recent years. Seems like he just appeared out of nowhere.

PM edin76051 on this forum. Or PM me for his email address. He's very reasonable on his prices. To cheap if you ask me. Get one commisioned before he wises up. wink

Trevor, Sorry I didn't answer sooner. I am new to the forum and forget to look. As far as price goes it depends on what you want, one like the one I made for Dave $60. If you want something with inlays or exotic hide it would be more.

My problem is I don't have a lot of gun molds. I have patterns for a lot of revolvers and several semi-autos. I have numerous patterns for 1911's, Will Ghormley patterns and others. A 1911 holster would be a little more. I also have several handguns of my own that I can make patterns from.

Ed
