Was out scouting a couple places on public land and saw three groups of Pintails. One had 7 and the other two had 10+. I guess the big ducks are making it further south. My spot was dried up, we need some rain. Looked at 3 or 4 other spots, but they did not look right. I need to do some more scouting.
I guess I will be looking more than hunting the next couple of days...
Just part of the deal.

There's been a Coot in our neighborhood pond this week. It's the only one. Not sure when it arrive but we don't usually see Coots in this pond, and the ones we do typically show up way late in the season or after the season is over.

Lol. Duckbill that was funny! The dude up top has already taken lots of bone before this deer, both mule and whitetail.

seen some pintails, wigeon, spoonies, coots, and heard some gaddies this teal season.

There's nothing to eat north of us so I wonder if some are migrating earlier????
