I need to start working in the random quacks here and there, I think that really makes it sound like a group of ducks

It helps, learn to mix a couple quick quacks in while feed calling and it will help.

IMO, the DS is a better call, but that is speaking for my style an what I like in a call. The regular diablo just didn't fit me well, and I wasn't a fan of its sound but that's just me. The DS is more quiet, but I feel that it has a better sounding feed and better bottom end. The regular diablo is loud, very very raspy/harsh sounding, and a ton of whine and I do mean a ton.
