For the most part I have seen deer activity diminish in heavy rain. But when the rain stops or slows to a drizzle or mist the deer action can get hot in a hurry. I would rather already be in stand when the rain subsides.

I agree with Pope&Young. Biggest deer I saw last year was right after a heavy rain. It was still drizzling, he turned and looked at me at 350 yrds and walk right off. HUGE buck I could see his big ole brows without binos.

Don't bow hunt but saw 3 of my biggest bucks at my feeder with hard rain and 60 mph winds a couple of years ago.........
