So far this teal season I haven't seen many big ducks. Every day i've seen a couple pintail, couple spoonies, and a pair of woodies where I've been hunting.

But Saturday, we had a drake widgeon hang out for about 20 minutes, then today a flock of 14 mallards came and landed about 30 yds outside the decoys, plus 3-4 flocks of 4-5 mallards flying around. It IS possible that these birds may just be marina mallards from local lakes that got blown around in the wind, but I'm not completely convinced.

Anyone else seeing an increase of bigger birds?

the dooshers on my next door neighbor's lease shot a mess of coots and wood ducks while hunting bwt last weekend. They had no idea until they went and picked the ducks up. I reminded them while they hunt with me I tell them "take 'em" or "don't shoot those". dumb asses.

Curious why you edited this. Buddies see it and not like what you originally posted?
