Looks delicious but even more amazing is that you still have backstrap in the freezer this long. My backstraps are usually gone the first month lol.

That looks delicious! We had some bacon wrapped dove for dinner last night and again for lunch today.
You should have been here yesterday!

We do that also, wanna spice it up some add a small slice of jalapeno pepper and a small dab of cream cheese inside the meat then wrap it up and cook it. Very tasty.

We grind up smoked bacon with deer meat. Those hamburgers are delicious.

You should try leaving the backstrap whole and butterflying it. Put peppers and onion and fresh garlic then wrap it in bacon. Slow smoke and slice like little medallions. You will not be unhappy.

WE are going to die known as the generation that bacon wrapped everything......you ever notice how bacon, cholula and bud light makes everything taste better ? I must say I do not know why but I have never thought to bacon wrap straps like that. I see a dead doe Saturday morning for sure now.
