Trued 700 in 223AI, 75 AMAX @ 3000 from a 20" Brux. NF 2.5-10x32 mil/mil on top.

Its not too bad really, the stock fits me really well. Its not as bad as 1 oz 3 inch 12 guage slugs!

Its not too bad really, the stock fits me really well. Its not as bad as 1 oz 3 inch 12 guage slugs! hardest kicking gun i've fired to date was a single shot 12 gauge single shot with a 3 in load of steel #2's. don't know what the gun weighed but it wasn't a whole lot. I shot it once free hand and I about had enough of that.
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

that's always a tough question for me...
I'll probably my AR15 7.62x39 and just count on shooting hogs, but if Bullwinkle shows up, it'll work just fine for him too.

None on opening weekend. I have to go to a vehicle exrication class on sat and sun for the FD.
But the second weekend I will be carrying a savage 116 .270 or a savage 10FP 308.

depending on the stand, wide open, the Savage 10FP-LE with Leupold Mk IV 4-14; Brushy, the remington 750 carbine with Burris FFII 3-9x40 Ballisti-Plex;
Bad weather, I have a new Savage 16FCSS with a Trijicon Accupoint 2.5x10 that needs to draw blood...
All are 308's
But opening weekend, I'll be at TMS for the races....second weekend I'll be hunting
