Has anyone hunted the public land at lake Whitney ?
If so will you let me know if it's any good
One side note, NEVER put an armadillo in a paper feed bag.

I'm a firstimer there this year myself. I was asking the same question. Looks like a lot of permits were given out but I guess those hunters don't frequent these sites. Good luck!

I've been dove hunting there. There were lots of doves but the brush made it really hard to find the birds you knock down. I gotta get my dog trained!

Good deer hunting but the locals generally act like it is their private property.
