I shot hornaday 150 grn and I was stacking quarter size groups of 3 shots and I really liked it

Speer 150gr hotcor's or hornady 150gr sst if I want to really "Mack truck" something. Both loaded up with either imr 4064 or ramshot tac. Very accurate and more than enough horsepower for anything I pop.

I don't always have a .308, but when I do I prefer Nosler Partitions. Stay accurate, my friends.

I have a .308 Rem Semi-Auto that will not shoot groups for Sh@# with Core-lokts. The bullet would drift 4 inches after 3 shots.
Tried the Hornady SST Superperformance and got really good groups for the 1st time ever with this rifle.
They make ammo specifically for hunting for a reason!

I played Kimber roulette a few years and picked up a Montana .308 second hand. Thought I'd lost... it wouldn't shoot anything well. Then, just before I was going to send it down the road, I tried some Federal Fusion 165 gr. and the first group measured 0.69. Rifle just loves the stuff. Sometimes you never know...

I tried some Federal Fusion 165 gr. and the first group measured 0.69. Rifle just loves the stuff. Sometimes you never know... +1. I have a RockRiver in 308. Federal Fusion is the most accurate off the shelf ammo I can put through it.
coffee spelled backwards is eeffoc. I don't give eeffoc until I have my morning coffee.

I found a box of 180 gr Hornady RN bullets hidden in my bullet box. 1972 vintage acording to the box and the 4.95 tag on it. Loaded them up 3 years ago and am still killing deer with that 100 rds out of my BLR. I had forgot how hard a good round nosed bullet hit a deer. I like it!

I reload but for bench rest I shoot Sierra 168 grain bthp but when hunting whitetail I use 165gr Nosler ballistic tips. For my 700P those do the best, 1 clover leafed hole at 100 on the 168gr and about .5 inch group with 165's at 100.

okay, well, just to be different, 130 gr Barnes TTSX, and as much Varget as I can get away with... Although I may try 150 gr Ballistic tips in my AR-10

I have a savage 10 Precision Carbine and i shoot 168Gr Hornady A-Max with i think 42 Grains of Varget powder. Best 5 shot group at 100 yards has been .595 inch
