I love the new blind I build this summer
I just don't like the glare off of the plexi glass windows

has anyone tried deglossing them with some fine steel wool?
I will have them raised during hunting most of the time anyway, but I wonder what would take some of the glare off without making them impossible to see out of?

If you use steel wool you will not be able to see out of them.
I have the same problem and don't know of a fix.

Window decal screens like on the back window of a truck? You still see out.
I haven't tried it. Just a thought

I used cheap see through camo netting from wally world on the inside, cuts the glare by more than half. I us a rope above the window, so I can slide it out of the way when I open the windows.

I think I may have worded my question wrong

The glare I want to cut down on is what can be seen from the outside, looking at the blind

When you are 100 feet or so away you can catch a glimpse of a glare off of the plexi glass. the rest of the blind is camo and flat finish, not shiny parts, but the windows kind of defeat that purpose.

I also have a camo burlap material as a curtain on the inside, perfect for concealing movement on the inside. From the inside you can see right trough it but they can't see in

The deer get used to it and do not know the difference as to when it is there and when it is not. I would not worry about it.

Ive never tried this myself but i have heard a few old farts tell about it. Cut a cucumber in half (or hoever many parts you need to cover your window) smear the cucumber juices onto the window to keep it from shining like that. once it dries i think you just wipe it down.

we put a light tint on our front windows and dark tint on back ones to keep our box blinds dark in the inside to eliminate any extra movement in the stand by some clients or young kids.
