It doesn't matter what he will score. The only thing that matters is that this deer makes your 8 yr old excited and would make him a happy hunter if he did get that deer and that in my opinion is AWESOME! Good luck I hope he gets him.

It doesn't matter what he will score. The only thing that matters is that this deer makes your 8 yr old excited and would make him a happy hunter if he did get that deer and that in my opinion is AWESOME! Good luck I hope he gets him. yessir  I'd put him around 110ish.

Id say 5 and around 120.
Dad shot a buck very similar last year, but had longer beams and was 16" inside spread and it scored 129, but the beams almost touched infront.

Never too early to teach a young man about management. well i'll teach you something about managment. that deer is 4 1/2 years old. and still an 8 point. That deer needs to be shot. he is gonna top out at about 115" max, and that isn't good breeding stock. To the OP: that deer is mature, who cares what it scores. Your son won't. I would have died to kill a buck that good when I started hunting
