They are fast but loud and not really forgiving. Quality units no doubt. Are you hunting with it?

I hunt with my Cheetah, nothing wrong with it, paid like $379 at Academy a while ago. Looking to save up for a Z7 though.

I originally threw down on it because it was last years model and it was marked down to $220 fully loaded. Ive had no problems thus far and am pretty pleased with the feedback.

From the research I've done Martin's are excellent bows. I own the lowest end model they make(threshold)and I've been driving tacks with it! Robin hooded the other day at 30 yards. In my honest opinion they are a very underestimated bow by many.

Gary's right...I graduated last year from a 2009 Cheetah to the 2011 Firecat 400 and it's blazing fast, but loud by comparison.

What is more important than anything else is WHO is holding the bow. I've sure seen a TON of want to be archers that THOUGHT they were hot stuff with the newest and fastest bow on the market that couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

Today seems the most important thing is Fast and New; while correct form is out the window, I can guarantee you that 85% of people that shoot bows don't know the first thing about proper form.... I see it every time I go to a range.

I have had Diamond and Bowtech bows in the past but now I shoot a Martin Exile and its blazing fast. They are loud because they come with basically no dampeners on them. Limbsavers will fix that issue

The technology poured into bows now doesn't set many much ahead of the others.

I have had parker and diamond. Now I have a marten Exile and love it compared to the other too. The bow is super fast and after puting limbsaver dampeners and limbsaver string silencers the bow is just as quite as my Dads $700 diamond and the martin is faster. As far as accuracy 3robin hoods later i decided to quite attempting them because it gets expensive.
lifetime warranty so no complaints

Don't get me wrong I love Bow Tech bows I just down graded because I don't use my bow enough to have $800-$900 tied up in it. So I sold my Bow Tech and bought a new rifle and the exile grin
