Put the T-post upside down with the flat plate facing the way you want the camera to face and use bailing wire instead of a strap.

A T-post driver won't work with the post upside down so get in the back of your truck and use a small sledge hammer.

That's what I do and it works perfect

Get a 2 x 6 about 4 feet long. Drill holes about the width of the tee post so you can secure the board to the post with wire.
You also need to put small peice of wood on the face of the 2 X 6 ie 2 X 4 or smaller so the camera can rest against it and you can tighten the straps on your camera. Usually set mine about 3 feet off the ground so the small peice of wood needs about the height you place the camera.
We have about 8 setups like this and they work fine.

I screwed a board to the post and then screwed the camera to the board.

If you have panels around your pen why not just put the camera on them? I have the primos cams and use the mounting bracket that runs about $20. I have mounted my cameras to tripod legs and all kinds of limbs etc and very weird angles but love the adjustability of the bracket. You could also take a small piece of plywood drill holes at the corners and use bailing wire to attach to t-post then mount your camera on plywood.

I have three of his older mounts, have had them for years. Check this guy out really easy you can either use the strap or I prefer the metal bar mount supplied with it. Recommend highly, plus it's a texas product.

I drive the post in with a post driver then screw a piece of 2x6 onto the post and attach the camera to the 2x6

Drive a 4x4 post anchor in the ground. You can find them at just about any hardware store (Google it). Then ... well, I think you'll figure it out from there.

I use a five gallon bucket, stand a cedar post or you can use a piece of 4x4 in it, and fill it with sand. Then you can move it around to wherever you want it.

The way we do it is buy a cheap camera tripod, remove the mast from the legs and attach the mast to the t-post with hose clamps. Now you have a mount that you can use to adjust the camera to any angle/direction desired. This is of course assuming the cam has the socket on the bottom for a camera tripod.

I use a T post and secure a 12" square piece of painted plywood to the T post with a u bolt. I mount the board low enough that I can use the T post driver to install. This method allows me to move the cameras wherever I need them without worrying about a tree being available.

This is the perfect solution! Quick and easy and you can set the camera for any angle -

SLATE RIVER CAMERA MOUNT

x2

Much more useful and half the price of the other Tpost mount.

Only issue I have with the Slate river is if they get bumped they can break. I have cows and deer rub up against mine all the time and all I have to do it re-aim the camera and go on down the road.

I had a buddy grind the knibs off a t post, then weld a piece of plate a little larger than the camera to the post wit a 1x1 angle on the bottom.

Great idea, but a lil expensive if you have 4-5 cameras! I may have to give them a try though!
