Where in the metroplex can I get a custom AR built? Ive looked all over the net without much luck.

Ident in Rockwall. Held this and was insane in the quality and weight. Think with optics (had NV illuminator on it) and can was under 5 lbs.  The receivers are FDE anodized, not coated.

WE build a small batch per year give Mike a call at the shop. We would love to earn you business! Will be at the Mesquite Rodeo Gun Show this weekend. We also stock suppressiors and build ALOT of SBRs.

Another vote for Chuck at Ross Precision Gunworks. He built my 6.8, and will be getti g a call when I'm ready for another one! Yep chuck gets my vote for sure. No high pressure. Just builds what you want. Very knowledgable too!

Build it yourself. They are super Easy to build. Like my 7 yo daughter could do it.

I looked into doing it myself, but for what I want the savings of doing it myself isnt that much. I dont mind paying for labor hours if it saves me from hearing my wife gripe about spending all weekend working on a gun.

I believe Advanced Gun Works in Roanoke can build you whatever you need. I know they do custom work for local PD's. You can check their website for contact information and info on what they do.
