I know vets are a HIGHLY subjective thing to talk about. We moved to Austin in 2010 and have no points of reference.

We pick up our pup on Oct 7th and will need a good vet who also can do house calls (for convenience and least important factor), affordable, and isn't going to "nickle and dime" me to death. in short, a trustworthy, credible vet.

You can PM me or post here.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to help.

Rick

Dr. Mullins is a great vet. My wife used him and he will travel to your house, great guy too. He was with the south lamar vet office.

I go to AMPM animal hospital. My dog cut open his paw and sliced his tendon/ severed a blood vessel and not only did they fix it, but they didnt make me pay for the usual extra bull. They were upfront and called each night to check in on Apollo. I will be going there from now on. They are located on South Lamar as well.

I would say they are trustworthy and did not pester me for anything extra. I was very happy as the vet we had in Seattle, WA was TERRIBLE!!!!

We use and love Allandale Vet Clinic. Dr Weisz is our favorite and Dr Cocchiaro is a close second. Great care for our dog and 2 cats and reasonable prices.
