Seriously...quit killing snakes "just cuz"...there are only 3 snakes in these United states that are going to bite and invenomate you IF they dont try to get away from you first. Rattlers..well all know what they look like because they have rattles..hard to miss...Copperheads...no other snake even close to that color...and cotton mouth/water moccassin....bright white inside of mouth and usually in very close proximity to water.....yeah yeah yeah Coral Snakes...but if you actually encounter one I'll buy you dinner. There is NO reason to lop off the head or shoot any other snake. unless its one of the three*** around the house, I relocate, I don't understand all the bad@@@@@ out their in the woods, but see a snake and good lord its like seeing an axe murder, let them go on about their busness.
