Can anyone tell me what kind of bug this is? Its about the size of a hummingbird and feeds on the nector of the flowers like one and even flies like one.

These little boogers hurt

Scott, its wings fly about as fast as a hummingbird, if you notice it has a needle like beak and flies like one too.

It's actually called a hummingbird moth. They are really cool.

I saw one in Denton one time and thought someone had slipped me something! Strange looking creature.
Do a Google image search for hummingbird hawk moth


I fought Him, ran from Him, thought I could do it all without Him, but when I finally turned to Him, He opened his arms and took me in.

Nope the deathshead doesn't have a long beak. The hummingbird moth is also called Hawk Moths or Sphinx Moths.

Haven't seen a hummingbird moth in years. When growing up they were around the 4-o'clock flowers every afternoon. Cool looking moths

like its been said its a humming bird moth, i have only ever seen one once , amazing little things to watch .


If you want to find a fool in the countryside , you will have to take one with you .
