Does anybody on here replace your stock follower for an aluminum or steel one?
This is the part you push against when loading your magazine. (I had to look up the name of the part). Apparently it's fairly common to upgrade to an aftermarket one.
I scratched mine while cleaning it and I think it's causing the few issues I'm having with the gun cycling.
Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

Never have needed too. I did replace a rusty spring once, but figured out it was the catch that holds shells in the mag was a little deformed from shells slamming into over the years, and created a burr off the end. Filed her down, good as new.

Might want to try a Sure-Cycle Magazine Tube Kit. Mack's has one for $34.99.

Check out Nordic Components Low Drag Teflon coated follower. It's a nice replacement.

Did the sure cycle spring and follower on my 11-87 years ago.
Haven't had a failure to load the next shell since.
This is my really terrible weather gun.
Thought for the day: Ducks were almost hunted to extinction long before camo was invented.
