As some one who builds and sells winch feeders I cannot afford for my customers to disappoint my customers. I am not a distributor for any brand and I certainly understand a budget, however I use and when the customer ask I sell them HCR "G-Box" timers and I am happy to say that in more than five years I have not had one tell me they were unhappy. My point I strongly recomend using a good timer HCR or Boss with "The Timer" along with a 1/4" motor shaft. One reason I say this is because in years gone by I had to do things "CHEAP" so I understand.

All Season 12volt with "the timer". ^^^^^ is a great setup but if you could change the timer and put in an HCR it would be even better.

Cool. I will look into them. I admit that I'm just starting my research. I have never bought a feeder though have hunted on friends feeders.
I'm getting set up on my first lease. I prefer to take the hit only once and buy the quality stuff first.
That being said, where would be some good places to find them in the ft worth area.

triple c feeders. they are all digital, they tell you the temp, how many cycles you have thrown and, approx. how many pounds of corn you have fed. they have 6 feed times from 1sec. to 60sec. they are located in burleson so they are close.

My feeders are 300 miles out so the very best is just barely good enough. I use HCR with lithium batteries exclusively.

HCR!!! I hear the TIMER is awesome too. The HCR comes on the feeders that I buy at Kramers in Fredricksburg.

Both of those timers are good I usually use HCR because I can get them more easy. I am not sure why gollygee is lithiom batteries the 2 "AA"s last more than a year plus, in fact it'salmost too easy to forget to replace them. I used to do business with Mrs Kramer some years back they are very good folks, help keep them around.
