haven't been bird hunting in years and not since being diagnosed with auto-immune disease after loosing partial vision in my right eye (i'm right handed). went out last weekend with my father and the hunting crew and did just fine. can't tell you guys how much fun i had and how pleased i am that i can still hit a bird after all that's happened. had to take a cool off break in the afternoon when it broke 100 as the heat flares up the symptoms, but it was a complete blast and hope i'm able to keep it up in the future.

i'm not a disabled vet and i sincerely apologize to those who have served if i have posted this in the wrong section. btw, thank you for those who have served this fine country and made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

Reeder,

Good on ya...way to go! I love hearing positive stories. Sorry to hear of your challenges...but, like many of us...you work around them.

You don't need to apologize...this isn't a Disabled Vet forum. Appreciate your thanks to us that have served in the Armed Services.

Take care and keep on rockin'!

Rex

Thanks guys. Now that it's cooling off I'll have to spend some more time out in the field. Looking forward to getting back into the sport.
