While moving my stand I stepped on this guy and didn't get bit. Screwed me up for the rest of the day. He was only a two footer but that's two feet too long in my book. Seriously though, the Lord was watching over me.

Glad you didn't get bit. I had a close call 2 weeks ago but not that close.

You sure messed him up just by stepping on him.

Lucky there. I have almost grabbed one picking up my shells. We blasted a giant about 10 feet from me stool the day before. Had another one slither an inch from my boot. I like to be lucky.

Stepped on him??? I don't fear them as long as I know they are there. If I stepped on that I would have had a runaway bolt

Glad you didn't get bit man!

I damn near stepped on a little one last night about 11:00 in my backyard! Little booger never moved until I mashed his head in! He was only about 15" or so and could have easily bitten me on the ankle as I stepped within 6" of him! I hate the little ones as they are much harder to see and impossible to hear!!!!!

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

Glad to hear you two didn't have a back and forth moment.

Never seen a man weild an 8 foot 2x4 as swift as my Dad last year. We were putting up a stand and he realized he was straddling about a 3 footer whilst screwing in a panel......when he screamed we thought there goes dad getting tagged by a scorp ( we had seen about 5 so far on this stand from being layed over).....only to see his fury being taken out on his new found coiled enemy.

Shook us up for a while, but ended in laughs and deep breaths and eye brow raises of "man...dont need that happening again"

It's hard to feel sorry for someone with one leg who shoots themself in the foot.
