Anyone know of a good place to hunt near Houston?

There is the public hunting out near Waller, we have a lease in the Waller area, and it's been easy limits everyday so far. Don't know how the public hunting is, might be shot out already.

Do you allow anyone to hunt on your land? Myself and two of my buddies are looking for a place this weekend. We went with an outfit out of Katy on Labor Day but they through everyone out in a field and said have fun. There were a lot of inexperienced people I felt like out there. Looking for something a little less public.

Are you looking for something in the South Zone? If so I have nothing but good things to say about Grey Feather Adventures. I have been on their lease for the last few years and have yet to be disappointed. They can not guarantee that dove will be there at the field you are at but they certainly give you an abundance of fields to choose from and will also let you know where they have been seeing dove. They are located in the Rosenberg area and have access to fields that stretch from Beasley to East Bernard to Rosenberg. The contact I have is for Chuck Leaman (832-528-7693), and this guy is the best at keeping in touch with his members and even non-members. Forgot to mention the best part, their prices are the best I have come across. Let me know if you need any other info.
