Anybody seen fawns this time of year with spots still? I figured they lost them already.

Some fawns in South Texas just hit the ground in June. Most will have spots showing until October at least down south.

I was just wondering cause last day of the season last year I shot a doe that had twins in her the size of rabbits. I felt bad but she tasted good.

Coryell has some. Seen some on Sunday but might have been a late one. Seems some does get pregnant on that second rut and drop them late.

I have seen several though that have spots.

Shhhhhhhh better to be quiet than remove all doubt..

Most does have twins at our place. There is one doe that I know of with a single fawn. The older fawns in the back of the photo are starting to lose their spots.

Some with spots and some with hardly any. The largest spread for fawns I have ever seen.
