If you looking for reason to shoot him, shoot him. He looks like a 3 yr old to me but the way he is standing does make him look like a 4 yr old. Can't tell much about point count with that angle.

Here is another picture.

As you can tell,he only has 3 points on his left side. Something is definitely going on with the whole portion of his left headgear.

3??? Wow, I was thinking 4 at least (shows how much I know). Maybe I need to revist some pictures of him.

I just thought he had a weak side to him, as he only has 7 total points. Figured he would be a good buck for the lady to take out, get her confidence back. Then again, if he truly is 3 I may need to wait a year or 2 on him.

Do you have pics of him last year? Did he look the same? He would be a great buck for her to take if he was a 7 last year. But I gotta ask, are you an AR county? whistle

No STX, I am not in an AR county. This buck has been seen the past 2-3 years by the neighbor, always the same style rack. Hence my thinking he is at least 4, and on a down hill slide or a typical cull.

I don't think he is old enough to be going down hill, but I would call him a 4.5 yo and would take him on our place as a cull.

Nothing wrong with taking him if he has been seen for a couple of years and still looks the same. Second pic you posted makes him look older also, so he might be 4.
